I have several poems in this beautiful charity anthology which is in aid of La Leche Leauge (Breastfeeding).
This is an issue close to my heart. Breastfeeding is free and great for both mum and baby. I fed both my daughters despite sometimes unhelpful advice and misapprehensions about length and frequency of feeding which were constantly pushed in my face from people who should have known better. This book is not just for women, but for anyone who was ever born. Do consider buying someone you love a copy. .

From the cover art and video, ‘Musings on Mothering’ does look a beautiful and uplifting anthology. Congratulations on the inclusion of your poems. I’m glad you say the book is not just for women. Parenthood is a profound experience for both parents, and being a dad and grandad means everything to me. Funnily enough, my right ear still aches slightly from the tugging Stella gave it as I applied the gas-and-air during the birth of our first child!

The collection is out, Paul. Hopefully we will see each other soon. I wanted to welcome both men and women to this book. My husband was very supportive of my breatfeeding our girls – he could see how powerful it was as a parenting tool.
This is a lovely book with beautiful artwork as well – do spread the word about it.
